Santa Fe Farmers Market

Fall at the Santa Fe Farmers Market

Fall at the Santa Fe Farmers Market is definitely a time of abundance. The smell of roasting chiles wafting from every corner, the first of the apples popping up from local farms, and the last of the gorgeous heirloom tomatoes of the season. The rich bouquets of dahlias and cosmos are reminders of the beautiful Santa Fe summer trailing out, and the potatoes and squash are bringing the excitement for the rich cool-weather meals to come. If you are visiting Santa Fe be sure to soak in the excitement of the Farmers Market every Saturday morning year round, and Tuesday morning and Thursday evening during peak season. Enjoy the photo-tour of the market!

I just love the diversity of the produce. Colors, smells and textures you just don’t see at the chain stores. Purple carrots, duck eggs, kolrabi…and of course the fresh bakery treats!
